The V2 Shorty Battery is just a little longer than a traditional cigarette. It is the shortest battery we sell. The V2 shorty is 67mm / 2.63 inches in length (100mm / 3.93 inches with the cartridge attached). This is a great battery to own, however be aware that the smaller size also means less time between recharges. The shorty is designed for its style and look, but be aware that this battery will only produce around 160 puffs between recharges as opposed to the 200-240 Puffs produced by its standard length cousins. The White batteries always ship with Red LEDs, The Stainless Steel always with Blue, and the Black Batteries are available in your choice of Red or Blue LED colors (note: if you do not specify in the item notes or order notes, your LED color will be randomly selected.)
The Shorty is now available in both automatic switch and manual switch varieties (option selectable above).
How is the Automatic Battery different from the manual battery?
The V2 manual battery has a small rubber button which you must press to activate the atomization process. With the Auto, all you do is puff. Manual batteries offer a greater lever of control over the heating element inside the cartridge, because you can heat up the liquid before you actually take a puff. They require no priming like the automatic batteries, and can produce thicker vapor more quickly and with less puffs than the automatic.
If you don’t want to press a button, then the automatic is probably a better choice for you. As a general rule, the automatic batteries are a little easier to use and are better for use when driving. On the other hand, the manual battery can produce thicker vapor. So if you like your vapor extra thick, you might want to consider a manual.
